With my work insurance I get up to $350 worth of orthodics every year with a doctor's note. Very reasonable. This time, though, it was getting old orthodics refitted. I'd used them maybe 5 times...now they custom fit my running shoes so it should be much better.

I didn't exercise yet, but I did avoid bacon and fries at lunch.

I'm trying to use sparkpeople to track my eating instead of paying a small fortune to weight watchers. It really is amazing how much more difficult it is to track via calories instead of those low-value points though.

As for the hockey game...very tense. I'm thrilled they pulled out the win. But I'm already sick of hearing the "sound bite" of the winning goal being played every 15 minutes on the radio. banghead.gif

Well, I was a little disappointed in my weigh-in this week. I was actually lower on Friday but gained slightly on the weekend. Good news is that I'm still down a lb and I'm now officially below my "expected weight" line in the graph.

My wife finally gave in and joined Sparkpoints with me. It's been quite an eye opener for her as she gets about 700 less calories a day to play with.

Here's hoping!!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Dieting is tough to do but I think it helps when you have someone doing it with you.

Dieting is so strange. Yesterday I wasn't all that hungry so I actually ate BELOW my daily calorie limit. Result? Up 1/2 a pound today!!

I gotta stop weighing daily. I need to eat right, hopefully exercise, and let my body take care of the rest...

Last week I could do no wrong - dropped 4.5 lbs. Unbelievable. Now I'm officially below 250 lbs and want to stay that way forever!! 9 more lbs and I'll have lost the Seroquel weight that I put on... dancinfool.gif

Weight, blah. No matter what I eat, I gain. I think the reason I lost so much weight when my son was in the hospital was from stress and being sick to my stomach so much.

Oh, absolutely. My wife, after her car accident, lost close to 20 lbs from stress and being sick to her stomach. Unfortunately, it eventually came back on as the effects of the accident finally faded.

Oh...stay FAR FAR away from pepperoni. I was munching it all yesterday without entering it in to Sparkpeople. When I finally did it turned out to be 1,864 calories!! Pretty much my full day's worth. triplomuro.gif Time to get serious serious again as I'm back above the 250 I never wanted to see again; and I even went for a walk yesterday...

I really feel sorry for you women though; you get to eat SO little calories. The best my wife can hope for, without exercise and without eating below the minimum 1200 calories allowed, is to lose a pound a week.
